A world premiere based on true events. Wilson, Arkansas, 1933. On a late summer night, shouts ring out from an angry mob. Alonzo and Matty, exhausted and terrified, slip inside the unlocked kitchen of the powerful Wilson family — but find they are not alone.

Keith Knight to give his presentation "They Shoot Black People, Don¹t They: A Cartoonist¹s Look at Police Brutality" on Friday, February 20th at 3:30pm in the Walton Reading Room at Mullins Library.  We¹re hoping you might be interested in helping us get the word out about the event to the Black Alumni Society, and perhaps invite your students to the event, if you think it is suitable.

 Justice Day 2/26 UA Justice Matters Program 6-7pm Hoodie March for Justice, 7-9pm UA Program.
This week is Justice Week 2/26-2/28 which is presented by Umoja Soul Writers and #HandsUpNWA and in conjunction with Black History month. Justice Week is a community-led initiative aimed at commemorating the three year anniversary of the death of Trayvon Martin. Other organizations working with us is OMNI Peace, Justice & Ecology Center, Compassion Fayetteville, IWOC (Incarceration Workers Organization Committee), NWA NAACP, and various other organizations. 
Justice Week focuses on raising awareness to combat the numerous social justice issues impacting minorities in the US and in Northwest Arkansas community. Justice Week will present speakers from different social groups and organizations to talk about Police Brutality, Prison Reform, Mass Incarceration of minorities, Injustice against women, Gun Violence and other injustices.
